Pop superstar Ke$ha , 26, has voluntarily entered a 30-day rehab facility in order to treat her eating disorder.

On Friday, she gave a statement through her rep, that read: "I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice," she said in a statement provided by her rep Friday. "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder to learn to love myself again exactly as I am."

Ke$ha, whose full name is Kesha Sebert, is currently at Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center in Lemont, IL, which is approximately 40 miles from Chicago. Another young star Demi Lavato also sought treatment at Timberline Knolls for her drug and alcohol addictions in 2010.

Ke$ha looked noticeably thinner when she filmed the video for the song Timber , in which she collaborated with rapper Pitbull.

Ke$ha has been flaunting her smaller physique for quite some time now, and her personal trainer Kit Rich, shared exactly how she was able to drop the pounds. "We've been doing a lot of circuit training and incorporating Pilates exercises with weights that heighten and shape the butt," Kit said. "Lunges, squats, stairs and isolated glute exercises." Kit also said that Ke$ha had been trying to eat a healthier diet. "She makes fresh vegetable and fruit juices in her juicer daily," he said. "Plus, she eats lots of protein—she really loves salmon!—and steamed veggies and tons of water."

While diet and exercise are known to be the key ingredient in losing weight, it seems as though Ke$ha had some other issues that were contributing as well. Hopefully the time spent at Timberline Knolls will allow her to have a speedy recovery.
