Back in June, Facebook announced some updates to Page Insights, aimed at helping marketers and Page admins better develop content and reach people on the social network.
The updates have been available to a select group of admins in beta. On Wednesday, Facebook announced that they’re rolling out globally.
Along with the roll-out, the new version of Page Insights is getting some additional features, thanks to feedback from early users.
Facebook explains, “To help Page admins better see how people interact with their content, we split the People Talking About This (PTAT) metric into separate elements: Page Likes, People Engaged (the number of unique people who have clicked on, liked, commented on, or shared your posts), Page tags and mentions, Page checkins and other interactions on a Page.”
Virality has been renamed to Engagement Rate, and it now includes clicks as part of its measurements.
“We’ve aggregated all the metrics for positive interactions (likes, comments, shares and clicks) and negative interactions (hide post, hide all posts, report as spam, unlike page) into a post-specific score card, so marketers can evaluate positive and negative metrics side-by-side for each post,” Facebook says.
You can also now see who you’ve engaged with a post, in addition to who you’ve reached.
There’s also a new option to download the Page Insights Export.
