Microsoft, Viacom In Another Xbox Promotion

New subscribers to Viacom’s Showtime cable channel will receive a choice of Xbox promotional items.

Hold off on adding Showtime to your cable lineup just yet.

In a new promotion, Xbox gamers who sign up for new Showtime service during a promotional period will get their choice of Xbox freebies.

Gamers can choose between receiving two Xbox games, or one game and a starter kit with 12-month subscription to Xbox Live.

Xbox Live offers online gaming and content downloads to subscribers, and requires a high-speed Internet connection.

Viacom and Microsoft already have one Xbox promotion scheduled for May 12. That is the date a half-hour special on the Xbox will debut on Viacom’s MTV channel.
