Internal Podcast Podcatchers

    August 3, 2006

I got an email this morning from a corporate communicator wondering what podcatchers companies are using to let employees subscribe to internal podcasts.

My reply: I don’t even know of any companies using RSS for their internal podcasts. While I certainly have heard of companies employing RSS and news readers for text, most companies producing podcasts for employees are delivering them by email, either as attachments or embedded links. All of these organizations hope to move to RSS as soon as infrastructure issues or IT roadblocks are addressed.

But these are only the companies I’ve heard from. Anybody know of any companies that are using podcatchers like iTunes or Juice for subscribing to internal podcasts?
