The portal company has used Rapt’s Price Director in North America since 2004, and will now extend that internationally.

Starting with Europe, Yahoo will make the Rapt services available for pricing online media. Rapt disclosed the expansion of its deal with Yahoo in a statement this morning.

“Yahoo!’s decision to deepen its relationship with Rapt is affirmation of both the value that Price Director delivers to the organization as well as the quality of the services that Rapt provides,” said Tom Chavez, Chief Executive Officer of Rapt.

Yahoo uses Price Director to manage pricing and display advertising inventory. “Price Director has brought tremendous rationality to our pricing over the past year by managing our highly complex business environments,” Todd Teresi, Vice President, Sales Operations at Yahoo!, said in that statement.

Among other clients, like Microsoft and Apple, Rapt is also used by iVillage. Yahoo recently won an agreement with iVillage to provide search and advertising services, replacing Google’s AdSense with Yahoo’s Content Match in September.
