More Yahoo Search Shortcut features, for finding information about movies, can quickly retrieve a trailer or showtimes online.

Among the more than 30 search shortcuts Yahoo provides are ones for retrieving more content about movies. The company posted information on the new movie shortcuts.

By typing the name of a movie followed by ‘trailer’ or ‘trailers’ should return a result for just about any film. Entering a movie name followed by the zip code, city/state, or city name for major ones will deliver showtimes, theaters, reviews, and maps.

If a group of people have not decided what they want to see, they can enter the word ‘showtimes’ followed by a zip code to get a link to all local theaters. Clicking on that link retrieves the theaters and the movies showing at each one.

A date dropdown box provides a look at upcoming movies by date. Showtimes with hyperlinks take the user to Fandango to purchase tickets online.
