Sick of hearing about this yet??? Too bad… there’s so much to talk about I can’t seem to give it a rest ;0) Wired Magazine’s coverage from Where 2.0 is, to say the least, interesting, and informative… case in point, this article titled “Where 2.0 Gives the World Meaning”.

Wired Mag’s Annalee Newitz was roaming the floor and has some nice feedback on some people and things that made an impact on her… including, the $50k UAV that can set out and map a specified area at high-res (like 3 inch res!), she met up with Christopher Schmidt (who I have a great YouTube worthy dance video from!) who is young, energetic, and savvy, offering his services to familiar names like Metacarta and Platial – Schmidt calls himself a neogeographer according to the article. Finally, the article also delves deep into Geo with a discussion of OSGeo and the open layers project… what a great plug for the teams efforts! I could go on but instead, See Wired article here
