Verizon Partners With Veoh

Internet Television Company Veoh has partnered with Verizon and will offer its own channel on the Verizon Wireless V CAST service.

Verizon Wireless customers will have access to the "Best of Veoh" video collection that includes animation, comedy, entertainment, drama, and Web-series video. The programming was chosen for the mobile audience from video clips published on Veoh.

The two companies said their partnership will also allow Verizon to bring Veoh content to Verizon’s broadband customers and FiOS TV, making it the first time Veoh content will be available on three screens. A Veoh channel is scheduled to be on Verizon broadband entertainment portal this fall. FiOS TV will offer Veoh content later this year. As part of the deal, Verizon will also advertise on Veoh TV.

Customers with V CAST-enabled phones can receive the service for $3 for 24 hours or sign up for a monthly subscription for $15. Application download fees apply for 3D games and premium video.
