Should the Jack In The Box Blog?

    November 2, 2005

Here’s the debate of the day at The Blogging Enterprise Conference. It came up during Shel Israel’s talk.

Should this guy – the icon from the Jack In The Box ads – blog? I say no. Others like Scott Allen and Matt Mullenweg – who surround me here in a blog sandwich – disagree. Matt says he would read it.

Personally, I don’t think Jack should blog. He should stay in the box. Blogs are for real people. Flash web sites are for characters. I stand by my earlier position on character blogging. What do you think?
