Overall, the agreement expands the existing partnership between Netflix and Disney-ABC, which announced their first digital licensing agreement last fall.

"We’re excited about this new agreement since it builds on a strong foundation with Disney-ABC Television Group," said Robert Kyncl, vice president of content acquisition for Netflix.

"In all, we’re providing Netflix members with some of the most popular and avidly followed shows on TV while working with an important business partner to help grow several of its key franchises."

Netflix currently offers several Disney Channel programs, including "Hannah Montana," "Wizards of Waverly Place," "Jonas," and "Sonny with a Chance."

Netflix offers more than 12,000 movies and TV episodes that members can stream instantly on their computers and TVs.

Netflix also streams movies and TV episodes to a number of devices including Blu-ray disc players, Internet TVs from LG, the Roku video player, Xbox 360 and TiVo.
