BoingBoing points to The ThoughtSafe, a USB stick that is encrypted and contains a custom version of MSN Messenger.

While it is designed for teens who want to keep a private journal and communicate via Instant Messenger without their parents spying on them, assuming the technology is solid, this could be pretty useful for anyone worried about their privacy. It costs $55, has 128 megs of space and comes in red, black, pink or blue.
