My Places allows MapQuest users to save maps and routes to their profile from the MapQuest site and access them on or their mobile phone. MapQuest 4 Mobile is a free downloadable application.

My Places allows users to set up an account on the MapQuest site and view their saved locations using MapQuest 4 Mobile. Users can view their saved locations either on their mobile or their PC.

Saving Maps and Directions

"The launch of My Places on MapQuest 4 Mobile further extends the experience to mobile handsets," said Christian Dwyer, Senior Vice President and General Manager, MapQuest.

"We’re pleased to be the first to market with this unique service, that allows our users to access saved maps and routes they’ve generated at"

To download the MapQuest 4 Mobile application users can visit on their mobile device. Current MapQuest 4 Mobile users will be asked to upgrade to the new version of the application, which includes My Places.
