Limelight Shines On Xbox

Content deliver provider inks deal with Microsoft to provide exclusive hosting for multiplayer games on the next generation platform.

Limelight Networks announced it has been selected by the Redmond-based software and game console maker to support Xbox Live.

The online gaming service for the Xbox will offer games plus other downloadable content for Xbox gamers.

“Limelight has an unmatched track record of fast, reliable delivery of rich digital content, ensuring that our customers will continue to have a superior online entertainment experience,” said Xbox Live Operations Manager Eric Neustadter.

The privately held Arizona-based company lists ABC Radio, DreamWorks, and Yahoo! among its clients.
