  1. Nice.

This is right on. I’ve been studying alternative psychology and NLP for quite some time now so needless to say, I’m familiar with the unconscious.

Considering these processes that “fire off” in the brain, below the level of reader’s awareness, is smart in content creation and definitely like you said, images.

I wonder about, and have been doing research on what colors create what feelings in people. Even though we can’t be accurate with all people, because we’re all built differently but I believe there are some (red and black) colors that really get people’s attention.

    Great stuff.

  2. I align with all of this, especially creative imagery and making an impression on visitors minds.

I think psychology has a lot more to do with repeating visitors and conversions that we think. It’s the underlying factor to all of it.

I’m particularly interested in unconscious processes that basically make decisions for people. The processes that are firing off in their minds right before they’re about to make a decision, that ultimately seals the deal.

Learning those, and then sculpting your site, offers and even positioning and colors of opt in forms.. that is a psychology conscious approach to effective marketing!

    Great article.
