Google Ads Coming To A Chicago Paper

It hasn’t been confirmed which Chicago newspaper will be the one displaying Google print ads, but the company did confirm a test is being evaluated.

Danny Sullivan followed up on reports of Google putting ads in a Chicago paper by contacting the Googleplex for confirmation.

Google did tell him that, yes, they are considering a print ad test in a Chicago newspaper, though they did not mention which one would be the lucky recipient of its advertising.

Back in August, Google began testing print ads in two tech magazines.

The search engine company did tell Sullivan the magazine print test “has had favorable reaction from advertisers and publishers.”
