    August 23, 2004

10G, LLC and DPAC Technologies announced today that 10G is integrating the Airborne Wireless LAN Node Module into its Wi-Fi Communications Adapter.

The DPAC module was selected based upon its ability to perform under extreme operating conditions. DPAC offers the leading automotive-grade embedded wireless LAN node module available.

10G’s Wi-Fi Communications Adapter is ideal for mobile applications that require wireless access to off-board networks for high-speed or large data transfers. The Wi-Fi Communications Adapter makes real-time information readily available for managing capital equipment assets and costs and even remotely diagnosing and servicing heavy-duty machinery.

“We are excited to be working with 10G, who designs for the toughest environmental conditions in the transportation industry,” said Greg Gower, vice president of sales for DPAC Technologies. “DPAC has engineered a cost-effective wireless LAN node module that delivers unsurpassed performance under these types of extreme conditions.”

10G supplies the Wi-Fi Communications Adapter through Caterpillar Inc., a Fortune 100 company and the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, and industrial gas turbines.
