The Facebook movie (which is titled The Social Network at its current stage of development) may be of interest to people outside Silicon Valley, after all.  A professional reviewer has gotten hold of the script and given it high marks.

In response to a comment following his evaluation, Carson Reeves admitted, "It doesn’t seem like it would be good.  I had strong reservations going into it for sure."  As part of the review, he also wrote, "I was constantly looking for a base, an obvious story or goal.  And there isn’t any."

Aaron SorkinStill, the script was written by Aaron Sorkin, who was responsible for A Few Good Men and The West Wing, and the man seems to have created something special.

Reeves concluded, "[T]his script really resonated with me.  Which is why it makes it into my Top 10."  He rated it "impressive," just shy of "genius."
