Digital Impact To Start Marketing Service For Search Engines

Digital Impact, an email marketing service, has announced plans to start a search engine marketing service. The service is expected to begin in the 2nd half of 2004.

According to, Digital Impact spokespersons have said that this service will be a compliment to their email marketing. William Park, CEO of Digital Impact said, “we believe we’re in a good position to enter this space and establish a leadership position very quickly. The Fortune 1000 clients are just beginning to realize the huge opportunities they have in using search as a customer acquisition vehicle.”

Digital Impact’s service will be designed to set up and manage ad campaigns that will run on Google and Yahoo-owned Overture. Other search engine marketing campaigns will be included.

Lower than forecasted revenue earnings are what prompted Digital Impact to attempt an expansion of its services.
