Rapid growth has led Ask Jeeves (isn’t it officially yet?) to add more staff to it offices in Oakland and open a new branch in Campbell, CA.

Just because they’ve been relatively ignored in the press doesn’t mean they haven’t been busy at IAC’s search engine property. The San Jose Business Journal reported on some recent activity at the Ask Jeeves HQ.

New hires and current staffers will work out of a new 16,000 sq. ft. office space in Campbell. Ask Jeeves moved workers from quarters in Los Gatos to the Campbell digs, which are more than double the size of the old offices.

In Oakland, the company acquired additional space within its existing headquarters, and the search firm has no plans to slow down.

“Our growth plans will allow us to accelerate development of the world-class search and information-retrieval that we have been creating in our Oakland and Silicon Valley offices for years,” Glen Sunnergren, senior vice president of human resources, said in the report.
