This would probably be the first reaction from most people. Surely it won't be a do-follow commenting, but truly looking at it, if it was to be, Facebook would have been the best site for spammers and before you see it they will be infesting the whole Facebook site in such a way, that it will need to go away (shut down) for a few hours. Think of it as a way that the site will get hit by a tremendous virus.

Facebook has launched its first social widget for the recently launched Facebook Connect, called Comments Box.
Comments Box can be added to any Web site or blog and it allows other Facebook users to comment on any of the content. The widget also allows non-Facebook users to comment on content as well.
The Facebook Developer Blog provides details on how to add the Comments Box widget to any site.
To add the Comments Box to your site, follow these simple instructions:
Set up a basic Connect application. Take note of the API key and specify a callback URL to your website.
Download this cross-domain receiver file, and upload it to your website.
Add these snippets of code to each file where you want a Comments Box.
Within the <html> tag, add: xmlns:fb="http://www.facebook.com/2008/fbml"
Add the following code wherever you want a Comments Box to appear in your page.
Replace '''YOUR_API_KEY_HERE''' with your API key, and include the path to the cross-domain receiver.
The Comments Box can be customized and all comments can be moderated.
