Now Canadians can load up the sled dogs and coordinate our moose hunts. Seriously, in Winnipeg we are approaching 2,000 Twellows. Beauty, eh?
Last week we launched TwellowHood, part of our popular Twellow service, and a way to find people who are on Twitter by the cities they live in. This lets you find out who close to you is using Twitter, and can lead to you making some connections with locals that you may not have otherwise.

If you are unfamiliar with Twellow, think about it as a yellow-pages service for finding people on Twitter. You can search for things or browse the directory to find people who tweet about the topics you are interested in.
TwellowHood was before only available for Twitterers in the U.S. While Matthew Daines, Twellow's lead developer promised it would be coming to other countries, there were quite a few people clearly anticipating such a move. Well, going one country at a time, Canada is now available through TwellowHood as well.

"Canada has added greatly to the Twitter and Twellow communities, and we're excited to be able to bring TwellowHood to our Canadian friends," says Daines. The addition of Canada brings over 11,000 new people to TwellowHood.
TwellowHood as been received quite well by Twitterers, and will no doubt continue to be by others as it grows on a more international level. Be on the lookout for more countries to become available, as well as other features to be added to Twellow in the future.
