Google Launches Holiday Gift Site

Includes special offers

Google has launched a site dedicated to offering holiday gift ideas for shoppers along with ways to save on purchases using Google Product Search and Google Checkout.

From the Official Google Blog. "Our Product Search team recently pored over millions of aggregated (and anonymous) search queries to put together some of the most popular products people are searching for."

"You can see the season's most-wanted gifts in various categories such as toys & games, cold weather apparel, and specialty foods. Someone you know just may have one of these items on their wish list."

Google Launches Holiday Gift Site

Shoppers using Google Checkout can save $5, $10, $20 or more on their holiday purchases at more than 600 participating stores, including StarbucksStore.com, the HBO Shop, J&R Electronics, and Petco.com. Google says the discounts will be available through December 17.

Google's Holiday Shopping site includes more than a dozen categories with special offers such as "Apparel & Accessories," "Computers," "Electronics," "Home & Garden" and "Jewelry."

Google says it created the site to offer holiday savings and gift ideas in one place.
