I've been looking around for some advice about how best to approach uploading large numbers, hundreds to perhaps several thousand photos a year to maybe Panoramio, or perhaps Picasa Web Album's and then be able to leverage them in my own Google Map mashup...and yes all the pics will have the EXIF jpeg file already populated with the X-Y lat/long coordinates.
So far I haven't seen to much that will explain:
a.) how to upload already geo-tagged photos to either Panormio, or to the Picasa Web Album.
or
b.) how to access either Panoramio or Picasa Web Album using JavaScript.
In any event, maybe somebody could offer some pointers, that would be cool.
thanks much

Panoramio is like ODP
Panoramio is like the ODP (The open Directory project.) You can put your photos in, but they'll never make it to Google earth or maps or anywhere unless your in the "in" crowd. It's soooo high-school and it will be the end of any service that does it. Look at the ODP for instance.
