Yahoo Update for this Month

Has it already begun?
In a recent thread titled, “Yahoo Rankings are GONE!” at WebmasterWorld, there are reports submitted by users that the update for the month of January has already begun.

This is however an early sign for a Yahoo! Search index and algorithm update as the last update happened on December 3rd, 2007.

There are even reports from a thread titled, “Is Yahoo Going Mad?” at DigitalPoint that the update is on its way. One of the members at WebmasterWorld has reported, “My rankings are starting to show up again, but not even close to where they once were. I must admit, that I am glad to see that I am not the only one. What's up with Yahoo?”. Another member at DigitalPoint said “I'm seeing frequent changes in my sites rankings on Yahoo..”

With all these positive signs, be prepared to get a post on Yahoo blog today or within a few days.
