The WorldWide Web Consortium (W3C), in May 0f 1999, issued Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, which outlined methods of making web content easily accessible to the visually and physically impaired. In those guidelines the W3C stated plainly,

The new platform has entered a public alpha test for developers who want to create web applications capable of running online or offline on a computer.

Noted video game opponent Jack Thompson is at it again, looking to block the distribution of Manhunt 2 and Grand Theft Auto IV, both scheduled to be released later this year by Take Two.
