Watch the Election Unfold Through Google's Elections Gallery

Also Watch Your State Elections

Google has been very involved with this election. They've released tools for voters to find out voting information. They've released a tool for volunteers to help recruit voters. They've provided an Election page to keep up with news, they've sponsored a project that allows kids who are not yet old enough to vote to ask questions to the next President of the United States. They've tinkered with a Google News feature that lets you compare quotes on specific topics from each of the candidates.

Now that Election Day is here they have provided just one more way that the Internet is involved with the race. Visit the 2008 Elections Gallery this evening to see live results for your state and others.

Google Elections Gallery

Not only can you view live results for the Presidential race, but you can also pinpoint results for the Senate and the House of Representatives, and it is all broken down by the counties within each state.

As an added bonus, you can embed the tool into any site or social media profile page and let others watch as the election unfolds. In the meantime, there are several other interesting maps in the Elections Gallery you can check out like Palin's Journey, National Almanac, Historic Results, and MyFairElection.
