Neil Patel over at ProNet Advertising reports that Digg has, at least a little, pruned its list of banned domains, allowing a few of them back in, presumably on condition of good behavior.

At the top of Patel's list is SEO Braveheart Lee Odden's Online Marketing Blog, the banning of which ignited a digital flame war the likes of which haven't been since the last time a freshman broke ranks in the lunch line.

In case you're just tuning in, Digg banned close to 200 domains last December, a large chunk of which were SEO and affiliate marketing blogs for no good reason other than a few bad apples in the mix.

This raised a number of questions about whether the purported democratically run social media site was really a democracy at all, or just pigs in the farmer's clothing. The maturity level of the average Digg user was also brought into question.

Patel's list includes only 22 sites, making it unclear if Digg is reviewing each domain in turn or if these are the only prodigal domains forgiven.

Forgiven or not, Odden won't be won back so easily. In the comments section, he tells the Digg elite where they can stick it:
