Dear David,
Why do you suppose Missy Krasner and Google couldn't find a single nurse to serve on their Health Advisory Council? Nurses outnumber every other type of health care professional. Nurses are the chief educators of patients, particularly in acute-care settings. Nurses are the means by which scientific advances reach patients' bedsides. Not only do nurses integrate findings of all health care disciplines into their practice, but they conduct and publish large amounts of their own original research.
I'm pleased that Google is intrigued by healthcare as an informational topic. However, they seem determined to get a partial, fractured and even biased perspective on the many involved issues. Professional nursing organizations have noticed this oversight and are unimpressed.

Health Advisory Council
As an executive director for a regional consortium, I applaud google's thinking. I am perpetually searching the web for health policy issues and changes that will affect my members. Any assistance google experts could provide would make my life easier!
Thanks!
