Watch: Will Ferrell and Adam McKay Talk YouTube

YouTube has partnered with Funny or Die, the video comedy site founded by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, the duo behind such cinematic comedy gems as Anchorman and Talladega Nights. There is now a Funny or Die YouTube channel, and YouTube is giving it special promotion on the site's home page.
Ferrell and McKay have uploaded the following video talking about YouTube:

YouTube Sets Date For Changing Channels

Over the past few months we've been hard at work redesigning our brand channel layout and many partners and advertisers have already opted into, and taken advantage of, this new design. Today we're beginning the process of converting all remaining partner and advertiser channels still using the older platform to the new one.
Online Video Viewing up 25% Per Viewer

Nielsen released its latest findings on online video usage in the United States today. The firm found that time spent viewing online video is up 25% per viewer, year-over-year. In addition, they found that total streams were also up 25%.
The Nielsen Company reported overall online video usage and top online brands ranked by video streams for the month of September. Here are a couple of charts documenting their findings:
Twitter Denies Rumors of Video Inclusion

Seems like just yesterday that the Telegraph was reporting that Twitter was considering the introduction of video tweets into its playbook (actually it was just yesterday). Interesting and scary thought all at once (honestly, do you need to actually see some of the folks who pass along their nuggets of 140 character wisdom?). So while it makes for a nice article and creates the some speculation, what was actually given to the folks at Mashable was even more important.
