One of the responsibilities of a human resources professional is to let employees know that their job has been eliminated. It is seldom easy to do and often painful for the person who is hearing the news.

If you’ve ever started a home-based business, your kids noticed. And if you’ve ever quit. Your kids noticed. If you’ve kept on though… through rough times and good… they’ve noticed that as well.

When I was a kid, I can’t believe that was almost 50 years ago, my folks used to give me a nickle, dime or sometimes even a quarter to go to the corner store. When I got that money I had to go directly to the store and make sure every penny was spent.

Over and over, research shows that kids who receive art lessons while they are young become more imaginative and creative adults. As you may know, creativity is an essential part of intelligence, and is often used as a gauge for measuring IQ.
