Next summer Hugh Jackman will be growing out his muttonchops again as he reprises his iconic role of “Wolverine” for the aptly titled “The Wolverine”. The film, which is being directed by James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma), sees Wolvie in Japan who starts “a forbidden romance with a Japanese woman whose hand in marriage is, unfortunately, promised to another man. Since Logan won’t take “no” for an answer, it puts him into battle with her father and her samurai-sword-wielding brothers and Silver Samurai.”

Supposedly someone snapped a photo of The Wolverine teaser poster while visiting Mangold’s office, and shared the photo via Instagram (the photo has since been removed). Screenrant straightened out the poster so you could get a better view of it, and here it is:

It’s not confirmed yet if this is an official poster for “The Wolverine”, but it definitely has the look and feel of what you’d want out of a teaser poster for the film.

The Wolverine is slated to hit theaters July 26, 2013.
