Britney Spears is gearing up for her new album with a contest collaboration with MTV, and fans are excited at the chance to get an invitation to see the singer live in Vegas.

Spears, who has had a successful Vegas residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, is launching the "MTV Presents: Up Close and Personal With Britney Jean" contest, which is part of a new campaign by MTV to bring artists and their fans closer together.

"From the beginning of my career MTV has always brought me together with my fans," Spears said. "This is another really cool way and I can't wait to see the winner at the front row of my show."

Fans can enter here to win a two-day trip to Las Vegas and front-row seats to Britney's show at Planet Hollywood. The singer won't release her new album, "Britney Jean", until December 3, but her song "Alien" has leaked online and is getting good reviews so far.

"I tried but I never figured it out/why I always felt like a stranger in a crowd," she sings. "That was then/like an alien/but the stars in the sky look like home, take me home/and the light in your eyes lets me know I'm not alone. Cross through the universe to get where you are. Travel the night riding on a shooting star/was lonely then/like an alien/had to get used to the world I was on/while yet still not sure if I knew where I belonged/that was then, like an alien."
