Last month we looked at Twitter’s numbers for user registrations and total tweets for the month of September. We saw a small decline in new user registrations, but tweeting appeared to be on the rise again following the previous month in which tweeting declined.

The numbers for October follow a similar trend. The information was supplied by Matthew Daines, the lead developer of the Twitter app, Twellow.

 Miley Cyrus deleted her 2 million follower Twitter account last week and has posted a rap video on YouTube telling her fans exactly why. The video which was posted Friday already has over 1 million views. 

Authorities caught up with another infamous hacker this week, this time the guy who hacked Miley Cyrus’ email account. Interestingly, he wasn’t arrested or charged with anything. Josh Holly,19, did lose three computers to the FBI though, who located him in Murfreesboro, TN.

Actually, this article is more of a commentary on collective mental illness, exploitation and mountains made of molehills—no, that’s not a boob joke. It’s also about invented controversy for the sake of ogling eyeballs and links at the expense of a teenage girl who will be lucky if she’s not in rehab on her 18th birthday.
