The High School Musical hunk has truly grown up. Zac Efron proved that to fans at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards while accepting the golden popcorn.

What award did Efron take home you might ask? The 26-year-old actor snagged the coveted prize for Best Shirtless Performance for his work in That Awkward Moment.

And boy, did he deserve the win.

While accepting the award, the blue-eyed actor was stripped down by Rita Ora. Efron’s snap shirt made the revealing almost too easy, showing off his tan, extremely sculpted abs.

She proudly took to Instagram to show off her accomplishment.

Prior to the award show, the fratty Neighbors actor took to Twitter announcing his shirtless plan. I think it’s safe to say the Twitter advertisement helped sway a few votes.

Aside from being up against some pretty tough competition, Efron came out on top. Other actors in the category included Jennifer Aniston for We’re the Millers; Sam Claflin, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire; Leonardo DiCaprio, The Wolf of Wall Street; Chris Hemsworth, Thor: The Dark World.
