Yoko Ono has returned home after being rushed to a nearby hospital for the flu, and she is now “running about as usual,” tweeted her 40-year-old son Sean Lennon.

Lennon took to Twitter on Saturday to thank everyone who showed concern for his mom and announced that she was released from the hospital after her treatment. He stated that it was “just the flu” and said he may get a flu shot as well.

According to her publicist Elliot Mintz, Yoko Ono exhibited flu-like symptoms and was brought to Mount Sinai West Hospital, on Friday, February 26 after being advised by her doctor to get checked.

Ono, who celebrated her birthday last week, was reportedly unconscious when she was rushed from her Upper west Side home to the hospital at around 9 p.m.

Although initial reports claimed Ono possibly had a stroke, Mintz and Lennon both denied the rumors.

Lennon tweeted that his mother suffered from dehydration before adding that she was fine. “’Hey guys it was only rumors from press: was NOT a stroke, just dehydration/tired. She is FINE. Thank you everyone for your concern,” his tweet read.

Ono still lives at The Dakota on the Upper West Side of Manhattan  even after her husband was killed in front of the same building in December of 1980. Their home was reportedly listed on the market for $14.5 million dollars.

In a 2010 interview with Anderson Cooper, Yoko Ono explained why she chose to stay at the apartment even after that shooting incident, “It was our home. You don’t just leave home. And also for Sean, that was the only home that he knows with having time with his father.”

“Everything in the house really reminded us of him. Every room is where he’s touched. How could we leave that?” she said.
