A 21-year old woman who went missing in the Grand Canyon area over the weekend is still nowhere to be found, and authorities have slowed their search efforts after turning up no clues as to her whereabouts.

Kaitlin Anne Kenney of Englewood, Colo., was reported missing on Saturday after disappearing from her group’s camp near Tapeats Creek on the north side of the Colorado River. While search parties have no leads, Kenney’s mother believes she may have gotten up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and gotten disoriented, or could have possibly fallen in the river. Posters have been put up in the park describing Kenney, but her family has already resigned themselves to bad news.

“Please say a prayer for our family. Our sweet Kaitlin is with the angels,” Linnea Kenney wrote on Facebook. “She was our balloon let loose in a room and lived life to its fullest, always with a smile. We were blessed to have her in our lives.”

Kenney is described as 5’5″ tall and 125 pounds. She was last seen wearing a tan knee-length coat, hiking boots, rugged tan pants and a long-sleeved grey shirt.
