Will Smith got a little wistful on Saturday, the birthday of his only daughter, Willow.
The Men in Black actor took to Facebook and posted an adorable photo of himself carrying a very young Willow in his arms, with a touching caption that said, “Happy Birthday, my Bean. 15 years old today!! When you were born it took about 2 seconds to realize that I was willing to die for you. Thank you for correcting my heart – and teaching me how to love without constriction or condition.”
The post has amassed almost 2 million likes and more than 15,000 shares since Saturday.
Like her famous father, Willow entered the entertainment industry through music with her smash hit, “Whip My Hair,” which she released when she was merely 9 years old.
Along with older brother Jaden, Willow became somewhat of a fashion icon, experimenting with unconventional looks that included outrageous colors, bold prints, and ever-changing hairstyles.
Jaden, for his part, created his own buzz all over social media when he wore a dress in public on several occasions.
Willow recently made her foray into the modeling industry by getting signed with The Society Management, which also happens to be the same agency that manages Kendall Jenner’s modeling career. She has been on the cover of i-D magazine and has a spread on Harper’s Bazaar.

The second born of Will and Jada is not the only famous person to be born on Halloween. Willow Smith is joined by such personalities as longtime anchor of CBS Evening News Dan Rather, Lord of the Rings director and producer Peter Jackson, comedian and actor Rob Schneider, and late actor Michael Landon who starred in Little House on the Prairie in the late ‘70s to early ‘80s.
