Will Ferrell is now a co-owner of LAFC–the Los Angeles Football Club.

ESPN shared two humorous Tweets about Ferrell’s co-ownership.

The LAFC–an MLS expansion team–is expected to begin play in 2018.

Sports Illustatred’s Grant Wahl made sure fans know Will Ferrell isn’t the first actor and comedian to be an MLS co-owner.

Fox Sports hopped on today’s Will Ferrell bandwagon, too,

Making sure they weren’t left out, NBC Sports shared their Will Ferrell laughs–in the form of his character, Anchorman’s Ron Burgundy.

Will Ferrell has likely bought into a team that will prove successful. The LA Galaxy is among one of MLS’s big names. Expectations are running high for LAFC.

If success isn’t in Will Ferrell’s future as a MLS co-owner, the SNL alum always has his comedy to fall back on–and will no doubt share some great jokes in the next couple of years about team ownership.
