Whitney Houston was found unconscious in a bathtub and pronounced dead just a short time later, back in February of 2012. This past January 31st, Whitney’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in her bathtub, but she remains alive on life support at a medical facility near Atlanta.

Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston’s mom and Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, spoke out recently about Bobbi Kristina’s condition, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

[Bobbi Kristina] is the same. She’s not progressing at all,” Cissy Houston, 81, told ET’s Kevin Frazier. “When I go there and look at her, [it’s] very difficult.”

Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown had just one child together. She isn’t “gone yet,” according to Cissy Houston.

She seems prepared, however, in the event of Bobbi Kristina’s passing.

“Because I have nothing to do with that. Whatever the Lord decides,” she said. “It’s His territory, and I understand it. It’s…very difficult for me. But I’ll make it. I made it through [Whitney,] I’ll make it.”

Whitney Houston can’t thank those praying for Bobbi Kristina Brown, so Cissy Houston is doing it on her behalf.

“I’d like to thank everybody who was praying. Who really knows the worth of prayer and I’m sure it’ll get through,” Cissy Houston said. “I’m just waiting for whatever happens. We go to the hospital every day and pray and I talk to her because she can still hear and I rub her hand. We do what we can do. The rest is…all up to Him. We know nothing about His plan…All I can do is hope for the best.”

When Bobbi Kristina passes, Cissy Houston will no doubt take some solace in the fact that mother and daughter will be together once again.
