  • Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules confirmed their split last week, and shortly thereafter The Bachelor headed back to spend some time with his family in Iowa.

Following months of filming The Bachelor and then his time on Dancing With the Stars, Soules’s split from Whitney Bischoff appeared to be the catalyst sending him in the direction of home, sweet home.

Since returning to Arlington, Iowa, Chris Soules has shared several pictures of his time on the farm, including some of visits with family members.

On Sunday he attended a niece’s graduation. He shared a photo of himself with his niece via Instagram.

“My niece Hannah Wallace who graduated on Sunday! I am so proud of her! Can’t wait to be a part of her amazing future!” he captioned the shot.

Had plans likely been in place for Whitney Bischoff to come along to Hannah’s graduation with Chris Soules?

Soules posted a photo of breakfast made for him by another niece.

“Breakfast made by my lovely niece Sienna,” he wrote.

Had Chris Soules expected that once he married Whitney Bischoff that she’d be preparing hearty farmer’s breakfasts for him every morning?

Hopefully Chris Soules is able to put the pieces of his life back together–and Whitney Bischoff, too, in light of their split.

Do you think shows like The Bachelor are really the best way for people to find their life partners?

It certainly didn’t work out in this case. It seems the city girl and the country boy simply had too many differences from them to share a life together.
