Vicki Gunvalson’s ex, Brooks Ayers, has reportedly won a lawsuit filed against him by former business partner Robert Williamson III, after a judge found Ayers innocent of Williamson’s claims of hiring a hitman to off him.

Williamson and Ayers were in business together with Gunvalson to create a line of vodka, but the project quickly fell apart after the two men began to bicker over one another’s involvement. Williamson soon filed a suit against Ayers for breach of contract, fraud, and for allegedly hiring a hitman, but a judge found that there was no basis for the claims and threw out the lawsuit, ordering Williamson to pay for Ayers’ attorney fees.

“Brooks prevailed in every way in his case. It’s interesting that people question his integrity and sincerity, when the courts of law have consistently ruled in his favor and proven that what he says is true,” said Ayers’ attorney Sean Reis.

There is currently another lawsuit in progress against Vicki Gunvalson, the Real Housewives of Orange County star who dated Ayers throughout his claims that he had cancer, for abandoning the vodka brand. Gunvalson has maintained that she didn’t know Ayers wasn’t being truthful about his illness until he admitted that he forged documents from a hospital, but her co-stars haven’t been sure what to make of the ordeal.

Gunvalson has seen several of her relationships sour in the wake of her time with Ayers, including the one she shares with daughter Briana, who claimed early on that Brooks hit on her and was faking an illness despite what her mother wanted to believe. However, Briana is reportedly going to move back to Orange County soon, where she’ll be close to Vicki, and the reality star shared a photo recently of a gift she received in the mail from Briana: a Christmas ornament representing her two grandsons.
