Vicki Gunvalson, the 52-year-old The Real Housewives of Orange County star, recently opened up about her ex Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis.
According to Radar Online, Ayers was first diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma in the fall of 2013. Since then, his cancer has become more advanced and is now stage three.
“I appreciate the prayers, support, and positive vibes from anyone who would wish to send them. Let me assure you that I am going to remain positive and continue to battle this disease vigorously with much tenacity along with seeking the appropriate medical care,” Ayers told the website at the time of his diagnosis. “Finally, please respect my family’s privacy in this matter as we walk through this challenging time.”
“I am determined to fight this horrible disease and am surrounded by love and support from people who truly care about me,” Ayers added.
No matter how good or how bad you have it, wakeup each day thankful for your life… somebody somewhere is desperately fighting for theirs.
