Uma Thurman must have missed the memo about the Met Gala theme being that of ‘China.’ Instead the star of The Slap channeled her inner Greek goddess in a stunning low-cut white gown that–at least momentarily–drew all eyes toward her.
The actress nearly spilled out of that plunging neckline when she arrived at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art’s Costume Institute sporting the Atelier Versace. The neckline was rivaled only by the slit on one side of the gown, that showed off her long, toned legs.
The classic look featured one flared sleeve and a floor-length hem. Thurman paired the dress with a flashy pair of high-heeled metallic sandals.
She added a pop of color to her ensemble with a bright green pair of dangly earrings.

Accompanying Uma Thurman to the big New York City event was Andre Balazs. He chose a striped navy suit and matching tie. Balazs and Uma Thurman first dated several years back before breaking up in 2007. During their split she became engaged to financier Arpad Busson and gave birth to their daughter Rosalind. She also shares two children with ex-husband Ethan Hawke.
Do you agree that Uma Thurman must have missed the memo about the ‘China: Through The Looking Glass’ theme at the Met Gala?
Despite her gaffe (which truly wasn’t a gaffe–that Atelier Versace was a take on a classic Chinese hanfu), she was positively stunning in her Greek goddess attire.
