A Mississippi couple has caught a mysterious object on video tape and says that it is a UFO.

On the night of February 16, Edith and Rainer Shattles who reside in Jackson County were taking footage of deer using an infrared trail camera. At about 7:24, the camera caught some deer. Half an hour later, a bright light appeared and illuminated the deer. A second light then appeared. The lights hovered for a bit before they disappeared off into the night.

According to the Shattles, the light that illuminated the deer can’t be from the infrared camera they were using, as it had no light source whatsoever.

When the footage was reviewed, the two lights that appeared looked like headlights, but they were hovering from the ground that had no road.

Rainer told WLOX News that he’s not sure if what they captured was an alien, but he is certain that it was a UFO. “Now whether it’s a government drone or what, I wish if nothing else, one of them would step up and say, ‘Yes, that’s ours,’” Rainer said

The Shattles said that while they may not really know what they have seen, they are okay with it being a mystery as it adds more flavor to their lives.

In 1973, an alien abduction was also reported in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Calvin Parker and his co-worker Charles Hickson claimed to have been abducted by aliens while they were fishing. The two said that they saw flashing lights and heard whizzing sounds. The reports indicate that they had seen a levitating oval-shaped aircraft that was around eight feet tall.

Parker and Hickson went on to say that three creatures came out of the aircraft and abducted them. They also claimed that they felt numb and paralyzed. 19 years later, Parker reported that he was again visited by the same aircraft and voluntarily entered it. He then had a conversation with a female being who said that her species want to reside on Earth, but cannot due to the humans’ inclination towards destruction.
