Twinkies are dead, or at least, that was the case late last year. The Hostess company, which produces Twinkies and other snacks, went under after failing to reach an agreement with the Bakers Union that represented its workers. Now the company is back under new management, and is starting up an ad campaign for the return of everybody’s favorite golden snack cake.
So, first things first, Twinkies, Ding Dongs and the others will all be back in stores on July 15. To mark their return, Hostess is printing new packaging that says “The Sweetest Comeback in the History of Ever.” Check it out:
Hostess is also being far more pro-active in the world of social media. It even used Vine to upload a creepy six-second video a man doing strange things with his tongue:
