Let the speculation end! The national drama is over! Tim Tebow has been traded to the New York Jets for a fourth-round pick. The drama began after free agent Peyton Manning decided he was going to sign a 5 yr, 96 million dollar contract with the Broncos. With the complete lock first ballot hall of famer Manning at the helm, there was no longer a need for Tebow.
The Big question now is how does this make Mark Sanchez feel? Can’t be too good because the second there is a slump, the Tebow-mania fans are going to start calling for Tim. But not everybody is ecstatic about this, Antonio Cromartie expressed his disapproval saying this on twitter yesterday:
He further inflamed things today when he had this to say:
@Mark_Sanchez let’s build the team around him. We already signed to 3 year ext.
Y bring Tebow in when we need to bring in more Weapons forNow that it has been confirmed by ESPN, Cromartie has been fairly quiet on the Twitter front. The fan reaction is mixed to say the least:
How bad is Mark Sanchez when the New York Jets just traded for Tim Tebow?
@Mark_Sanchez to deliver cause now he has @TimTebow gunning for his spot and fans will call for him!!
Now more than ever, the pressure is onTebow to the Jets? Ok…why not? Somewhere Mark Sanchez is very confused…not about Tebow…he is just confused.
Mark Sanchez is about to experience the worst years of his life…he thought the circus was bad before?
If Mark Sanchez plays amazing football next year, Tebow as his back-up works fine. If Sanchez flounders for even a game or two, Rut Roh
#TimSanity , but i do hate mark sanchez after last season so i hope sanchez gets shopped
as a Jets fan, im not sure how to feel about
