Tila Tequila was kicked off Celebrity Big Brother after a pro-Hitler blog post she wrote back in 2013 resurfaced. The new mom was appearing on the show along with Teen Mom OG's Farrah Abraham and Daniel Baldwin.

It was just one day into filming the show that Tila Tequila was axed.

On Saturday, the former A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila star issued an apology via social media.

"Back in 2013, I made a statement about Hitler not being a bad person and immediately realized soon after that I had made a terrible mistake that would ultimately come back to haunt me," Tila Tequila writes in her apology. "During that time, I had been suffering from severe depression and drug addiction for many years prior to that. I also attempted to commit suicide in 2012 and overdosed on prescription pills. I wanted to die. I felt worthless and unloved as that pain continued to grow, causing me to further spiral out of control."

Tila Tequila's blog post from 2013 was brought to the attention of the Celebrity Big Brother producers via the U.K.based group Campaign Against Antisemitism when they launched a Change.org petition highlighting her seemingly anti-semitic views.

"Unfortunately, Channel 5 and [production company] Endemol did not know about the views and attitudes Tila had expressed in social media postings prior to her involvement in Celebrity Big Brother. When they were brought to our attention, she was called to the Diary Room for a discussion with producers and was subsequently removed from the house," a rep for Channel 5 said in a statement to E! on Saturday. "The views Tila had expressed, and permitted to remain uncorrected, are totally unacceptable and, accordingly, her continued involvement in the program was untenable."

Tila Tequila fans are expressing their dismay, telling her she deserves a second chance.

Shoul Celebrity Big Brother give Tila Tequila a second chance? Or were they right in removing her from the show for her past remarks?
