Tia Mowry wants to set the record straight over recent reports that she is in a feud with Charlize Theron.

The Sister, Sister star and Theron reportedly had a bit of a run-in at a SoulCycle class in July. Mowry allegedly told In Touch magazine she tried to befriend the Oscar-winning actress without much success.

“She wasn’t very nice to me,” Mowry told In Touch Weekly. "I said ‘Hi,’ and she actually rolled her eyes and said, ‘Oh my God.’ I wasn’t over-the-top. I know how to approach another celebrity. Charlize was just mean. I’m just being honest.”

Following that initial story, more news surfaced that Theron apparently attempted to have Mowry banned from class.

However, according to a source for E! News, the rumors are all false.

"This is totally fabricated and completely not true," said the source.

This confirms Mowry's assertions to E! last week that the incident was "blown out of proportion."

"I do not know her," she said. "I do not know Charlize. I absolutely love her, she's my "Woman Crush Wednesday," you can even see it on my Instagram! I'm obsessed with her, I love her, but it was definitely blown out of proportion. So that's all I'm going to say about that."

Mowry currently stars as Stephanie Phillips on the Nickelodeon series Instant Mom. As for Theron, she has plenty of films in the works, including Dark Places alongside Christina Hendricks, Nicholas Hoult and Chloe Grace Moretz.
