I have a soft spot in hy heart for 2004’s The Punisher. Not because it’s a great film or anything (although it’s not as bad as some may say), but because I really like Thomas Jane.

Many fans of Marvel antihero Frank Castle feel the same way, so I’ll assume that they’ll join me in fully welcoming anything Thomas Jane does to bring more Punisher action to the masses.

And action he has provided indeed. Courtesy Jane, director Phil Joanou, and producer Adi Shankar comes this amazing Punisher short film entitled Dirty Laundry.

“I wanted to make a fan film for a character I’ve always loved and believed in – a love letter to Frank Castle & his fans. It was an incredible experience with everyone on the project throwing in their time just for the fun of it. It’s been a blast to be a part of from start to finish — we hope the friends of Frank enjoy watching it as much as we did making it,” said Thomas Jane.

Straight from Comic Con, check out the best thing to feature the Punisher in quite some time (NSFW violence and language, duh):

Holy hell, that’s a strong bottle of Jack Daniel’s.
