Since you’ve probably already watched the stoner parody of Beyonce’s Countdown, Snoop Dogg’s special message, and the movie Pineapple Express at least three times, how about a trailer for a new film coming out this summer to satisfy your 4/20 needs?
Well, not quite a “new,” just one that hasn’t been released yet. We’re talking about High School, which was actually completed in 2010 and screened at Sundance. It’s new release date is June 1st, and today we get a new red band trailer.
Here’s a short synopsis, courtesy of IMDB:
A random drug test coincides with a high school valedictorian’s first hit of pot. With his college scholarship at stake, he enlists the school’s biggest stoner to help nullify the results of the screening – by getting the entire student body high.
Sounds like a decent premise for a stoner comedy. What makes it stand out is that it has Oscar winner Adrien brody as a seriously messed up drug dealer and The Shield‘s Michael Chiklis, who is almost unrecognizable as the school’s principal. Oh, and there’s a Colin Hanks sighting as well.
Check out the red band trailer below (of course, NSFW):
May we suggest that you don’t include getting your entire school high in whatever celebrations you’re planning today. And don’t steal from someone like Adrien Brody.
What do you think? How does it look? Let us know in the comments.
